Doctors Appointments

It’s amazing how many doctors we have when we really think about it….

-Primary Care (annual physical, last minute appointments when sick)

-Allergist

-Eye Doctor (annual eye exam, contacts, glasses)

-OBGYN (annual exam)

-Dentist

-Orthodontist

-ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor)

-Various Specialists

For whatever reason, most of my annual exams fall between May and July.  I think it’s because of the craziness of work during the other times of the year, but I’m pretty sure my boss is going to kill me if I e-mail her about one more appointment.  It’s so important to keep your annual exams as a priority, even if you have 10 of them.  The busyness of life can make it so easy for us to put ourselves behind work, friends, family, etc.. In the long run, it’s worth it to put your health first and to go to all of your annual exams.

What do you do to remind yourself of your annual exams?  Do you schedule your appointments a year in advance?  Do you put a reminder on your calendar?  Does it just sneak up on you?
